Que nadie crea que con esta serie va a aprender historia, porque el 90% es ficción... Las fechas no coinciden con los hechos (por ejemplo, mover la corte a Versalles), las historias se centran en hacer guerras porque sí, o intentar envenenar a gente, pero sin ninguna motivación ni explicación.
En cuando a "fidelidad" histórica, la pondría mucho por detrás de Los Tudos, incluso por detrás de Isabel, que a pesar de ser ficción, había más hechos históricos de los que aprender algo.
Lo único destacable de la serie, las ubicaciones donde está grabada, y el vestuario... aunque sin historia, no sirve de mucho.

La "hija negra" de la reina (que no es más que una leyenda sin sentido), la aguja de Notre Dame (que es la más moderna que todavía no estaba construida), los hijos de Luis con las amantes (que tuvo 17 reconocidos, no los 2 ó 3 de la serie), el nivel de envenenamientos que había (que se hace un poco cansino), la relación de Luis con su hermano (que ya cansa el amor-odio sin venir a cuento), la médico mujer en la corte (que sabe más que su padre que era médico real, a pesar de no haber estudiado)... y muchas otras historias chirriantes, eclipsan cualquier lección de historia que se quiera dar.
Habrá gente que diga que la serie es para entretener, no para enseñar, pero para eso que se inventen un rey nuevo en lugar de usar el reclamo de uno histórico, si no van a enseñar historia... Que de aquí a una María Antonieta negra y humanista, no hay tanto.
