- Synopsis
- A fairy godmother's a great thing to have, as Cinderella (Flashdance's Jennifer Beals) is about to find out in this charming retelling of the classic fairytale.
When an invitation to the Royal Autumn Ball arrives, Cinderella's wicked stepmother decides it's the perfect opportunity to try find some husbands for her two very nasty daughters. But as for Cinderella? It's just going to be another quiet night home alone. Or so she thinks.
Her wish to attend the ball is answered by the appearance of her Fairy Godmother (All In The Family's Jean Stapleton) who with the wave of a wand-makes miracles happen. All she has to do is make sure she's home by midnight. Sounds easy enough, but what happens when you meet a handsome Prince (The Lion King's Matthew Broderick) right before you're supposed to get home?-
