Synopsis

K.D. Deitrickson (William Hurt) is a district attorney who sets out to prove that a man accused of abusing three women is guilty. The evidence against the defendant is overwhelming – one is dead, another confined to a wheelchair, the third tragically scarred. All of the victims hurled themselves in front of fast moving cars. What happened? Were the women innocent victims or tragic examples of what happens when unconditional love, so overpowering and intense, compels someone to do the unthinkable? The line between bliss and self-destruction blurs in this riveting and suspenseful drama.
