- Synopsis
- The life story of Howard Marks (Rhys Ifans), an elite British drug smuggler. Marks, known as “Mr. Nice”, is a legend. International drug trafficker, spy, nuclear physicist, school teacher, money launderer… his portfolio of partners includes the Mafia, the CIA, the IRA and MI6, and he is also a knowledgeable defender of marijuana. From his beginnings in the town of Kenfig, in South Wales, Howard’s phenomenal ascent leads him to travel through different countries, to win powerful allies and to earn more money than he could ever have imagined. An expert manipulator who learned from an early age to make the most of every situation and to be in the right place at the right time, Mr. Nice makes drug trafficking his real way of life.
