- Synopsis
- TV Series (2008-2009). 191 Episodes. Barbara lost her family, her love and was brutally raped and left to die. She is rescued by Eustaquia who takes her to her mother's tribe of Indians to be cured, where she comes in contact with the dark world of sorcery. Over the years, she learned the business of river trade and how to move among the corrupt networks of the region. Thanks to this, she meets Lorenzo Baquero, a wealthy man, heir to an immense estate. Guided by the deep hatred she has accumulated towards men, she decides to conquer the young man to later strip him of all his goods. This is how she becomes a powerful woman. Santos Luzardo will be the only one who has the weapons to tame and subdue "the devourer of men", as she is called in her homeland.
