Synopsis

Cole Ellis, a detective demoted to police officer, is assigned to watch Max Mitchell, an experienced con artist. While waiting to be booked at the police station, she solves an important case involving the mayor's friends. Both are offered a chance at redemption: Ellis is offered a chance to get his job back as a detective, and Max is offered a chance to stay out of jail, but they will have to work together to do so.
