- Synopsis
- Berkeley, 1974. Patty, daughter of tycoon Randolph A. Hearst, is a 19-year-old student who is about to get married. But, one night, she is kidnapped in her apartment by strangers who present themselves as members of the Symbionese Liberation Army. As ransom, they demand the release of two comrades and the distribution of food to the underprivileged classes. After a painful two-month captivity, Patty begins to feel sympathy for her kidnappers and decides to join the group under the nickname of Tania. Her baptism of fire is a bank robbery, in which her membership in the gang comes to public light. Patty's conflicting feelings lead to the inevitable downfall of the group.
