- Synopsis
- Foundling Heathcliff is raised by the wealthy Earnshaws in Yorkshire but in later life launches a vendetta against the family. It is 1848, and Heathcliff is tormented by the loss of Cathy, his deceased lover and eternal soul mate. Heathcliff conceives a plan to exact his hateful revenge on those around him. It is now many years earlier, 1815, and Mr. Earnshaw returns to Wuthering Heights from Liverpool with a young orphan, Heathcliff. Earnshaw's son Hindley immediately resents Heathcliff, while daughter Cathy forms a deep bond with the mysterious boy.
