- Synopsis
- This mystery centers upon a distant relative of the illustrious Count of Monte Cristo who is living in modern San Francisco. He has with him a map leading to his ancestor's fabulous treasure and this gets him into trouble when a dishonest lawyer begins plotting to get it by using a beautiful blonde to seduce the man out of his map. Unfortunately for the crook, the hero and his map are not easily parted and by deftly using his sword he soon defeats the villain. Later he earns both the treasure and the young lady's true love.
