- Synopsis
- Surrealistic portrait of several transsexuals in Tokyo in the 1960s. The film narrates the events that surround the life of Eddie and other transvestites of Tokyo's underground scene. The film's title is a play on words. "Bara", meaning pink, is a Japanese term used to pejoratively designate homosexuals.
