- Synopsis
- Danielle Breton (Margot Kidder), a young French-Canadian model working in New York, has just completed a guest spot on a shamelessly voyeuristic TV game show, "Peeping Toms." She goes to dinner with Philip Woode (Lisle Wilson), an advertising manager who was the unwitting "victim" of her performance on the show. After taking Danielle home to her apartment on Staten Island -- and being followed by her persistent ex-husband, Emil (William Finley) -- Philip makes love to her. He awakens the next day to the sound of Danielle fiercely arguing with her twin sister, Dominique, who he learns is visiting for their birthday and had been sleeping in the next room. Sent on an errand by Danielle, and hoping to make it a better day for each of them, Philip buys a birthday cake, then returns to the apartment...
