Synopsis
George Wilson wrote the screenplay adapted from a relatively obscure Marcel aymé novel.His son Lambert Wilson starred as the hero,a young soldier returning home after fighting in WW1:he was wounded and it had serious after-effects .

In the village where he lives,they tell that a splendid woman swims in the nude in the ponds ,protected by the vipers.They call her "La Vouivre" The ex-soldier falls for her,becomes her lover:she will be the death of him.
