Synopsis
Halle Berry stars as young, beautiful and privileged Shelby who's engaged to a white jazz musician called Meade. His parents won't attend because Shelby is black. Her parents don't have a problem with it, but when a handsome black man called Lute arrives on the scene Shelby begins to get cold feet about marrying Meade, especially when Lute begins to pursue her at any cost.
