- Synopsis
- This documentary shows Jacques D'Amboise teaching school children in New York City to dance - both at school and at the National Dance Institute (of which Jacques D'Amboise was the founder). The lessons culminate in "The Event of the Year", which is danced by the children - and which has been especially created and choreographed, for the occasion, by Jacques D'Amboise. Kevin Kline narrates the ballet.
