- An ultra-violent gang of armed robbers is terrorising Paris. In desperation, the outgoing head of the CID gives his twin lieutenants, Léo Vrinks (Auteuil), head of the Anti-Gang Squad, and Denis Klein (Depardieu), head of the Organised Crime Unit, an ultimatum: bring down the gang using whatever means necessary, and become his replacement.
