- Synopsis
- While mankind lives in peace, scientists pick up a threatening message coming from Venus. An international spaceship is sent to this planet to clear the matter. The crew, composed of human beings and one chess player robot, discovers on this faraway planet the remains of a mysterious civilization. Adapted from a story by Stanislas Lem, this cult movie launched a wave of space operas from Eastern Germany.
