- Synopsis
- Yolanda Bel, a bolero singer addicted to drugs, sees her boyfriend die from an overdose of adulterated heroin. Frightened, she decides to seclude herself in a convent of the "Redentoras Humilladas", an order whose mission is to protect girls who have gone astray. Yolanda becomes the Mother Superior's favorite, but when a former lover of the nun, who is on the run from the police, takes refuge in the convent, things get complicated. The convent is home to a chaplain and four other nuns: Sister Estiércol, an LSD addict, Sister Perdida, obsessed with cleanliness and owner of a tiger, Sister Rata de Callejón, who writes pulp novels, and Sister Víbora.
