Synopsis

A contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello set in an elite private school. Odin James (Mekhi Phifer), a promising basketball player, is the only black student at the school; he is a basketball scout's dream, as he has the talent and poise to jump straight from high school to professional sports. Not only is Odin very popular among his peers, but he is also dating Desi Brable (Julia Stiles), the beautiful daughter of the school's Dean. This situation will make Hugo Goulding (Josh Hartnett), the dean's son, the monster of jealousy is born.
