- Synopsis
- TV Series (2010). 26 Episodes. Spanish version of the American TV classic "The Golden Girls". In order to pay the mortgage, Blanca (Lola Herrera) has no choice but to rent some of the rooms in her house to other women. Rosa (Carmen Maura) and Doroti (Concha Velasco) respond to the ad she places in a supermarket and share the house with her. The appearance of Sofia (Alicia Hermida), Doroti's mother, occurs when the residence where she was staying is destroyed by a fire, and she is forced to turn to her daughter because she has nowhere to go. The coexistence of three mature women with the same problems, especially loneliness due to the lack of a man by their side, makes them become close friends. From then on, they will support each other at all times to better cope with the setbacks and circumstances that appear in their daily lives. Thanks to the humor with which they face the evolution of their lives, and the desire to live and be happy that they show at all times, they manage to face the future with a better attitude and greater optimism.
