Synopsis
The film looks at the role of Isoroku Yamamoto, the head of the Japanese Navy responsible for the attack on Pearl Harbour. It focuses on the last four years of this historical figure and away from the military epic, presents the dilemmas of a character who is against a war that knows that his country will not win, but stoically accepts its fate.
