Synopsis

YOU AND I brings together the hip and celebrated young talents from Hollywood - Mischa Barton and Anton Yelchin, and a new rising star Shantel VanSanten, shepherded by two-time Oscar-nominated and Palme d’Or winning director Roland Joffe, into this unique and visually stunning film based on the novel "t.A.T.u. Come Back" about the exotic and daring journey of two beautiful girls from vastly different worlds. The two heroines of the story, LANA and JANIE persevere as they are constantly challenged by seductive allure of the glitzy and glamorous pleasures and wealth and sex offered by the power elite of Moscow. The ride is great! It’s intoxicating! But suddenly they’re forced to confront the cold and cruel reality that lies beneath the glittering façade and their bond is tested to the breaking point... Along their journey, the girls meet many colorful characters such as the rich and vain EDWARD, his jealous and scheming girlfriend MARINA, the ex-pop star DIMA and his slimy and unde handed manager IAN; among the waves of many others that try to take advantage. Against betrayal and tragic loss, Lana and Janie must re-discover that love that brought them together or be shattered forever.
