- Synopsis
- TV miniseries (2021). 3 episodes. Before entering prison, Mark Cobden (Sean Bean) was a respectable citizen, family man and teacher. His life changes radically when he runs over a man and is sentenced to four years in prison. Tormented by guilt, Mark suddenly finds himself immersed in an unfamiliar and hostile world, becoming an easy target for the most violent and dangerous inmates. There he is placed under the tutelage of Eric McNelly, a veteran prison official in charge of protecting and managing various groups of inmates. Although he has a firm hand and authority, McNelly does his job honestly and seeks to help the inmates with whatever they need on a daily basis.
Time has a second season S2 with a different plot, different location (it's a different prison) and other protagonists.-
