- Synopsis
- Nick Wells (De Niro) is ready retire from his successful career as a professional thief, settle down with his girlfriend Diane (Bassett), and concentrate on running his Montreal jazz club. His longtime friend and fence Max (Brando), however, has one last job for him - - a nearly impossible theft of a priceless French sceptre. To carry out the heist, Nick is forced to team up with Jackie Teller (Norton), a young, aggressive and talented thief.
