Synopsis

Carmen (Marga López) lives with her husband Leonardo (Roberto Cañedo) in a small room in Mexico City, with many economic difficulties. She is an idealist of love and commitment, and she helps her husband without expecting anything in return. On the other hand he is an insecure, unemployed drunk, who doubts his wife's love, who lives in frustration. Everything changes when Carmen suffers an accident that will lead her to meet a car driver (Rafael Baledón) and a doctor (Jorge Mistral), who will try to conquer her love.
