- Synopsis
- Calvin has inherited his father's business, and considers it a burden and an absolute waste of time. After selling the store to a loan shark, Calvin begins to appreciate his father's legacy and realizes he has made the biggest mistake of his life. The Barbershop involves a group of eclectic and funny characters who share their stories, jokes and afflictions. We meet Eddie, an old barber with a strong personality and no customers. Jimmy, with a high level of education and a huge superiority complex that doesn't allow him to put up with Isaac, the new white barber whose only obsession is to be given the opportunity to cut someone's hair. Ricky is an ex-con with two convictions behind him who is desperately trying to get his life back on track. Terry is a woman who despite her best efforts is unable to leave her cheating boyfriend. And finally Dinka, another hairdresser who is completely in love with Terry even though he is not even aware of it. (FILMAFFINITY)
