Synopsis

Mr. Chiba wakes up inside a container, locked in it, with a number tattooed on his arm and a black stone as his only company. With no clue as to why he’s there, Chiba will soon discover that there are scores of people around him in the same situation. With echoes of the oppressive Buried and Cube, Abudakuti is a change of register and a further step towards Yûdai Yamaguchi’s cinematic maturity .
