Synopsis

Comedian Tommy Handley stars as an eccentric scientist who, along with his trusty assistant, builds a time machine with his friends' money, whom he neglected to inform. When they find out, they are understandably outraged and skeptical until all of them are sent back in time to Elizabethan England. Soon, the group has met William Shakespeare and Sir Walter Raleigh, but are unfortunately arrested by the Queens Royal Guard for witchcraft. Sure to be burned at the stake, Tommy and his friends must find a way back to their own time.
