- TV Series (2010). 112 Episodes. Dónde está Elisa? was a successful Chilean telenovela, premiered on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 by TVN and ended on Wednesday, November 4 of the same year, after 112 episodes aired. Based on the successful and award-winning Swedish book "The Men Who Didn't Love Women" by Stieg Larsson, the scripts were adapted by Pablo Illanes, Nona Fernández, Hugo Morales and Josefina Fernández and directed by María Eugenia Rencoret.
The plot revolves around the crisis caused by the disappearance of Elisa (Montserrat Prats), one of the daughters of the married couple formed by businessman Raimundo Domínguez (Francisco Melo) and Francisca Correa (Sigrid Alegría), who after 17 years of life together see all their certainties collapse after this kidnapping.
The story was inspired by real cases such as the disappearance of the girl Madeleine McCann, although in this story it is not a little girl who disappears, but a young woman, whose disappearance in a discotheque makes her very close to the murder of Jorge Matute Johns. The list of suspects in her abduction is long, including family members, fellow students and friends from the nightlife scene she frequented before disappearing.-
