Synopsis

José, a journalist and radio broadcaster, hosts a daily program entitled 'Solos en la madrugada' (Alone at dawn), which has achieved a huge national audience. Married and separated from Elena, José has two children, whom he hardly sees. Then he meets Maite, younger than him, extroverted and more liberal-minded than he would like. The emotional shock of his relationship with these two women will change José, whose pessimistic view of life has turned his program into a satirical chronicle of Spanish society during the democratic transition at the end of the 1970s.
