- Synopsis
- Showing events from the point of view of two of Hamlet's supporting characters, men who have no control over their destiny, this film examines fate and asks if we can ever really know what happens. Are the answers as important as the questions? Will Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (or Guildenstern and Rosencrantz) discover the source of Hamlet's discomfort as the new king has asked them to? Will the mysterious players roaming the castle reveal the secrets they evidently know? Based on a stage play by Stoppard himself.
