- Synopsis
- "How The Galapagos Sea Lions was Made" shows behind-the-scenes footage with the team that worked on "The Galapagos Sea Lions" to not only uncover the ins and outs of the production, but the world that inspired the film. The Disneynature team braves seasickness, heat and extreme diving conditions on their adventure to show the story of a young pup named Leo. They immortalize sea lion behavior in privacy, from the playfulness of the pups to the adults hunting tuna, not to mention the surfing teenage sea lions. But global challenges also threaten the archipelago: invasive species, pollution, illegal fishing and El Niño episodes. The film focuses on the community of champions who safeguard the Galapagos and protect the islands, mount environmental campaigns, clean the beaches, restore the corals and help the younger population to enjoy this magical environment.
