Synopsis: Ichika Hoshino heard a Miku song she never heard before at a CD shop. On the monitor, she saw a Miku she had never seen, and unintentionally blurted “Miku!?” out loud. Surprised by her voice, Miku’s eyes meet with Ichika’s, but she disappeared soon after.

Several days later, the Miku she had previously encountered appears on Ichika’s smartphone after a music performance on the street. Miku sadly hung her head, and when Ichika gently asked her about it, Miku told her that she wants to reach people with her song, but no matter how much she sings, her songs never reach anyone.

The first anime movie based on the rhythm and adventure game Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE! (known as Project SEKAI: COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku in Japan).
